Firstly, may I warmly welcome you all to Worthing's Pavilion Theatre for this year's Gang Show. Wothing's Scouts and Guides have been entertaining audiences in the town since 1967, under the masterful eyes of Dennis Hudson, and more recently Tim Kent. This year's show follows the traditions set by them and by Gang Show originator Ralph Reader. In 1971 Ralph awarded Worthing's Gang with the coveted 'Red Scarf', an honour that we still wear today. I'm sure you will agree with me that this year's cast continues the high standards set by the cast of over 30 years ago. Each year we are amazed at the ever increasing generosity shown in our charity collections. This time we are collecting for St. Barnabas Hospice and Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice so please do help us make a difference. I would like to close by thanking EVERYONE involved in the making, staging, producing and performing of the show, the hard work and commitment shown is, as I am sure you will agree, a credit to them all. Now sit back and enjoy as the 'Gang' entertains you as never before!! Mark Shepherd - Producer |
