The Worthing District Scout and Guide Band meets regularly on Wednesday evenings at the Rose Wilmot Centre, to provide the opportunity for those in Scouting and Guiding to be in a band.

Worthing District Scout and Guide Band is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2001. In its long history since starting in 1976 as the 4th Worthing Scout Band it  has done many things. From playing at Disneyland and Germany to the Royal Albert Hall in London and of course numerous Scout and Guide events around the County. A number of ex band members have gone on to form their own bands, with one being offered a recording contract. Another member went to join the Band of the Royal Marines.

If you would like details on how to join the Band please contact the Bandmaster - Simon Bridge simon.bridge@bigfoot.com. Anyone who is a member of the Scout or Guide Movement can join the band. It does not matter what grade you play at but it would help if you can read music.
